Sarah Nicchitta

Sarah Nicchitta received her Master’s in Anthropology from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2011, has over nine years of experience working in California archaeology, and has been a member of the Albion team since 2014. She is a co-owner and Vice President at the company, managing our San Luis Obispo office. Her duties include project management, developing research designs, consultation with Native American stakeholders, as well as implementing all phases of archaeological studies for both small and large projects. Sarah’s tenure in California archaeology encompasses many elements of environmental planning, regulatory oversight, general archaeological and documentary research, as well as cultural resources management. She meets and exceeds the US Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards for prehistoric archaeologist.
